Derek+Kellie || BLUE MOUNTAINS WEDDING

An epic wedding at Allview Escape in Blackheath with a bucket of rain post ceremony... Gold!

On the day, Derek+Kellie were an absolute delight to work with.  The rain never bothered them or dampened their spirits.  They were there to celebrate and nothing was going to hold them back.  The beauty of the wedding was a testament to them as a couple and as individuals.  It was pretty special capturing this love story...

Thanks for having me Derek+Kellie. It was simply beautiful.

Craig+Caroline || Groom Preps, SYDNEY

A few weeks back I had the delight of shooting the groom preps for Craig+Caroline's wedding.  I spent my early years in Sydney studying music and performing with Caroline, where our friendship began. When she dropped me a line back in February to see if I would be interested in helping out with the wedding day I was stoked and delighted to be involved.

We had only been back in Australia for a week after moving back from London, so it was good to hit the ground running. I had never met Craig, but I had heard many good things from various people and needless to say, he lived up to all of them... except his height!

He's a little Scottish lad and a gentleman at heart with a sense of humour to boot.  It was a super fun and relaxed morning shooting these boys. It's always an honour being a part of someones wedding day, so thanks for having me Craig+Caroline.  You guys are a perfect match and are destined for a great future together.

Be blessed :)

Tim+Lucy || Bath, UK

We had only been in London for a few months when I met up with an old friend from Australia (who is, funnily enough, also called Tim) on London's South Bank. Tim was also meeting some of his London buddies, as he used to live there. One of his buddies was another Tim, the groom to be... it was destined to be a good night with 3 Tim's in close proximity, haha!

After going through the usual formalities of getting to know each other, we were well on our way to having a good time over much laughter and a few beers.

When I received the email the following week from Tim expressing interest in me shooting their wedding, I was absolutely stoked! It was the 1st wedding enquiry I had had since we moved to London, so I was very ready to get back into it. Plus, after meeting Tim I knew it would be a stellar start to my wedding photography career in the UK.

After a few emails back and forth, things were locked in and I had my 1st London wedding booked! It was 18 months away, but none the less, it was booked and I was excited. This couple were just overwhelmingly joyful and a whole bunch of fun.

The wedding took place in one of my favourite locations in the UK... Bath, an ancient Roman town south of London, as well as Lucy's hometown. I also had the pleasure of my hot wife rocking 2nd shooter with me on this one. I could talk all day about the wedding, but I'm going to let the photos do the talking. However, I will say, it was an honour to spend the day with the bride and groom, a couple that I hold in high regards and consider wonderful friends.

Tim+Lucy, I wish you guys the best marriage and look forward to catching up when in London next!

PAUL+KRISTY || Blue Lagoon, Fiji

When Paul proposed to Kristy he didn't expect that the story would make it on air with their local radio station in NZ and be broadcast to the rest of the country. Because of Paul's romantic ways, this extremely humble couple had an all expenses paid wedding/honeymoon in Fiji to their name.

Men - Take note. It pays to be romantic!

Here's a sneaky few from the wedding that took place that day.

Enjoy!

CALEB+ELLENA || Central Coast, Australia

When Caleb+Ellena asked me to shoot their wedding I was absolutely stoked as I shot Caleb's brothers wedding in Queenstown, NZ in 2010 and we had a real blast then so I knew that this one would be as well.

Located on the Central Coast in Australia, we had some cracking weather for the entire day and as expected had a real blast shooting this one.
